Valley Art Center is thrilled to announce a collaborative public art mural project to beautify the construction site in downtown Chagrin Falls during the Main Street bridge reconstruction project and inspire the community. Leveraging the power of public art to create positivity and community engagement amidst the challenges of construction, Valley Art Center is proud to be providing a source of joy and inspiration to the community.
Designed by local artists and voted on by the community, the mural project includes plans for 8 murals to line the construction fence in Riverside Park. The 6 feet high by 8 feet wide-foot murals will include 7 designs selected by the community through a public vote of submitted designs by local artists and one community mural designed by esteemed lead mural artist, Pam Spremulli. Ms. Spremulli’s mural will incorporate elements drawn by community members of all ages, emphasizing the inclusive and collaborative nature of the community focused project.
Thank you to the private family foundations that are making Community Murals possible.
